Had a Turkish egg and almond croissant which was delicious and would definitely get again. Was very busy. Will definitely be going back. Loved it. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Especially when the queue is out the door. Worth the wait!
Limited seatings. Takeaway is a good option. very good variety of baked goods, there is a thing for everyone’s preference. I believe they start serving sandwiches only after 12.00pm. The almond croissant was a joyful treat. Enjoyed a white chocolate and raspberry tart and a lemon tart, both were a delight. Their coffee is good too.
Best potato scone roll in Glasgow! Went on a Monday morning, was nice and quiet and enough space for my greyhound too. They have proper dog bowls which is a bonus!
Brilliant cafe and friendly service. The date and butterscotch tart was delicious. Eat in and take away prices are different- close to botanical gardens and kelvingrove park to enjoy. Halal options present.
Quaint bakery along great western road. Don’t be surprised if the queue to the counter is all around the shop as that’s quite common for Cottonrake. Despite that, queue moves relatively quick and all of their bakes are worth the wait. My personal favourite is the white chocolate tart. So good!

Only popped in to get a croissant but ended up getting the pork and sage sausage roll, vanilla and almond cakes and the bakewell tart. That too, straight after a dentist appointment! Best sausage roll in Glasgow and the cakes are just delicious. Plan to sit in next time. Worth the wait.

Had the eggs Benedict. Probably one of the best we’ve had to date. Insane flavours. Great quality ingredients. Had a croissant to share as well. Raspberry jam was on point. Great service. Iced water + refills without asking. Would highly recommend.
We just happened by this place and saw a line. Looked at the sandwiches in the window and decided to try. We were very happy with our delicious sandwiches and sweets! I got the mortadella and my husband the ham and cheese. We also had a coconut passion fruit tart and Paris Brest. These fueled us for our wander through the Botanic Gardens and the Kelvingrove Museum. Highly recommend!!
